Kay Francis in "Stolen Holiday" For the reasons that the story is both original and ingenious, ' the acting excellent and the dialogue smooth, "Stolen Holiday," screening at the Waipukurau Theatre to-night at 8 is entertainment much above the average. Kay Francis, who played the title role oi " White Angel" is alluring and provo- # cative, while Ian Hunter, who gave a fine performance in the same picture and in "I Found Stella Faxisb," play 3 the -.part of the British Diplouiat with whom Miss Francis is in love. Claude Rains whose portTayal of Don Louis in "Anthony Adverse" will long be remembered, is the unscrupulous financier and Hunter 's rivalf Some of the most interesting jcenes in the "picture are the ma.nnequin parades in Miss Francis 's modiste shop in Paris. These fashion shows surpass anything of their kind ever seen on the screen. The production "Stolen Holiday" is artistjc and lavish while the photography is excellent. The supports include a: beautiful alpino musical "Echo Mountain" in dazzling Teehnicolour, Seats may bo reserved at Hawke's^ 'phone 282.
