O'Shea, chairman of the Queensland Turf Club, at th© annual meeting to-day. ' Mr. O'Shea pointed out tha,t in 1926 his club had a peak profit of £13,665, but with the spread of betting shops, the profits tumbled to £3150 in 1932, £964 in 1933, and £695 in 1934, while the past year the profit had risen to £7660. " '
