Lodge Meeting. A meeting of Court Littlejohn A.O.F. was held in. the Oddfellows' Hall, Waipawa, last evening, when U. R. llro. W. M. Murray presided over a large attendance, After the Court closed the membera enterthined their friends at a dance-social. This was such a succe'ss that it is to bo hoped it will be the f orerunner of many more to .come, The .music was supplied by Mrs Meta, of Waipawa, and the Ongaonga instrumental trio." A delightful supper wa6 provided ;by the ladies,, and the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem brought a very pleosant evening'g entertainment to a close. Waipawa Coif Team. During the week-cnd the annual goli match against the Parkvale Club will be played on the Waipawa links, the players selected to be at ,the clubhouso a p 9.15 a.m. The team to represent Waipawa ,is . as follows Watts, Bfyant, Knobloch, Collings, Edwards, Tickner, Maitland^ Trevana, Witherow. Bishop, Shackleford, , Loughnan, Strang, Dwight, Woods, Chishplm, Knobloch, Surridge, Withers, King. Any of ihe above unable to play are requested to notifj- ihe secretary. Next Wednesday th'e annual bogey round for the Otane Cup will be played. Loyai Tavistock Lodge. : Tbe fortnightly lneetmg of the Loyal Tavistock Lodge, Manchester Unity, last evening, , was attended by a fairnumber of members. After the formal business of tbe lodge, a meeting .was held to consider social matters, and it was deeided to hold a dance and supper after the next quarterly summoned meeting on August 19. Bros. S. Bryce and L. Liddell were appointed a subcommittee to arrange the musical items.
