BOTH STRONG TEAMS

Hawke's Bay-Manawatu Rugby Match TO-MORROW'S PR0SPECTS At McLean Park, Napier, to-morrow, Hawke's Bay will play its second home representative fixture, the oppouents being Manawatu. The Manawatu team is one of the strongest provincial sides in New Zealand to-day and includes many well-known players, chief among whom are the Al] Black Rod McKenzie, probably the best line-out and rucking forward in the Dominion, J. Findlay, All Black trial forward, and 0. Le Quesne, who needs no introduction to Hawke's Bay enthusiasts. To-morrow 's match should indeed be a stern struggle, and whichever side is victorious can justly claim to be recognised as one of the leading, if not champion, provincia! sides in the country. The Bay team remains little changed in the forwards with the exception tuat Griilin replaces Bowmau, who is on the injured liat. In the baek division R. Wnite is still suffering from a knee injury and is replaced .by Herbert on the wiug, while Brady, from Wairoa, takes fiis place at centre. Brady eomes from Wairoa with a great reputation iov sound defeuce and determination ou attack. The winner is hard to piek, but if the result is uncertain the publie can rest assured that there is dbsolutely no uncertainty about the higb standaru of f'ootbail for patrons to-inorrow.
