Two of 65 Hartebeeste aeroplanes being manufactured at Pretoria were successfully tested and gained altitude with great rapidity. The Hartebeest is a two-gun general-purposes aircraft, capable of a speed of 186 miles an hour. In future one plane will be completed weekly.
