MATERNITY SERVICES

It is the desire of tlie present Government that everything possible 1 should be done to provide satisfactory maternity services, not Obly for the Women in the towns but in the remote Country districts as well. The Hon. the Minister of Health, therefore, has appointcd the ccinffiittee of inquiry into maternity services of New Zealand, and is desifous that every orgianisation or person who has any inforrttation or suggestions that may be of Value should have the opportunity of ifiterviewing the ©ommittee. All interested persons are urged to comrnunicate at once vvitli the secretary so that sufficient time may be allowed for all concerned to have the opportunity of meeting the committee at the various plaoes it will visit. Particulars regarding the phices and dates of sittings are advertised elsewhere in this isaue.
