Matches Between American and N.Z. Teams

WELLINGTON, Last Night. Friendly contests have now been arranged between the visiting ' American ski team and the New Zealand teams, the flrst to take place at Mount Cook on July 26, 27 and 28, and the second at Mount Ruapehu on July 31 and August 1. 8now conditions being Favourable, stated Mr R. Gray, hon.* secretary of the New Zealand Ski Council, the New Zealand team will assemble at Mount Cook on July 23. As conditions are reported to be good at present, the °011* iest may ocmmence a day or two e&rlier than the dates given. The team for the contest at Mount Cook will consist of Brian McMillan, Brian Murphy, H. R. Wigley and A. C. Wigley. The New Zealand team for the Ruapehu contest will consist of Brian McMillian, Brian Murphy, P. Sehweiters and C. Ambury. The American team leave Auckland on August 6 for* Australia. The New Zealand team will agaiu meet the Americans at Mt. Kosciusko in an oificial triangular contest between the American, Australian and New Zealand teams.
