AGREEMENT ON TERMS OF TRUCE

According to the Domei News Agency the Japanese forces began a punitive movemeht towards Pekin j|t 7.30 and bombarded Wa£ping a few miies west of the capital. Ihe bombardment of Wangping, which was the seat of the first trouble terminated after haif an hour. Tt is understood that a vital meeting of the Japanese Cabinet will be keld this atteruoon. The Japanese headquarters at lientsin announced that an agreement has been xnade with General Chang Tze Chung., commander of the Iwentyninth Army in fulfilment of the terms of the truce to suppress Commanism and anti- Japanese movements, subject to the approval of the Nanking Government implying a modification of .the previoue policy. .
