The clock is that originally purchased by the Hastings Borough Oouncil some years ago. Owing to the fact that the borougb Was then on D.C. electric supply and the clock was constructed for A.C., Hastings was unable to nse it, and tbe clock was eventually sold. to the Havelock North Town Board at a "bargain price.''
