CONCERT AT HAVELOCK
St Matthew's Dramatic Club
St. Matthew's Dramatic Club ' last night presented a repeah performance of its concert in the Village Hall, Havelock North. The items, - which were much enjoyed, consisted of a pianoforte duet by Miss N. Cuming and the Eev. Kenneth Liggett, L.E.A.M.; voeal items ,by Mr V. A. Bryant, accompanied by Mr E. Warwick; tap. and classical dances by Misses Fay TTn.ll, Betty Eoss and Bay Seaton (pupils of Miss Jean Ballantyne); vocal items by Mrs G. B. Spinney, accompanied by Mf O. B. Spinney; L.R.A.M.; violin soloa by Mr J. Warren; conjuring. by ,Mr T. VbornbuTrow; and a humorous item, 4 4 Four J olly Sailormen, ' ' by Messrs W. W. Hainsworth, C. Broadhurst, S. Warren and K. Liggett. The two one-act plays, "My Kingdom for a — — , " and "The Silver Bullet, ' ' were again presented- and very much enjoyed. • ^ At the' conclusion of the programme, a delightful supper was served by the Havelock North vestry and enjoyed vcfy much by the performers. In appreciation of her. efforts, Mrs W. W. llamsworth, organiser of the com:ert, was presented with a shoulder-spray by Sf Luke'S vestry and a bouquet by the members of the Dramatic Club.
