AUCKLAND, Last Night.; Intense police actiyity is being main tained following the iu/.*sterious explosion which resulted in Mr. R. A. Singer, the well-known Auckland barrister, being injured as he walked- along _e garden path at his home at Grafton road after alighting from a taxi at h-is gate on the, night of July 9. Mr. Singer, who is a patient in a private hospital, is making a satisi'actory recovery, altlicnigh he is still sufferiug Trom shock.
