Good Sum Raised for Hall

ESKDALE, Lasfc Night. Mosfc successful was the residents' liall held last cvening, patrons coming from near and far. The liall was artistically decorated witli greenery and coloured streamers, and excellent music was supplied by Les Henry's orchestra with extras by Miss D. Kirlcham and Mr. McKinnon. The duties of M.O were carried out by Mr. J. Tait and Mr. J. Spence. MuCh credit is due to the joini secretaries, Miss Scott and Mr. A. Fortune, for the snccess of the evening. The supper-room was in charge of IMrs. Scott, Mrs. Saunders ana Mrs. Brvson, ably assisted by local ladies. A box of chocolates douated by Mr. IT. E. Beattie, vas won hy l\fr. Normaii Cowley.
