P » A represcntative meeting of Twyford settlers was held last night at the home of Mr and Mrs A, J. Sparksman for tlie purpose of discussing and arrangmg matters regarding tho settlers' UUnual ball in aid of the Twyford Hall tunds. J.t was uuanimousJy agreed that the function should take place at Fernhill next month. Mr L. Masters was appointed eliairman and Mesdames J. Bone and A. J. Burge point secretaries, aud the conimittee will consist of Alessrs Sparksman, Bone, A. Masters, J. I'rotter and L. Knuckey, and Mesdainep Mitcliell, Masters, Manson, Sparksman nnd Tait. A vvelcome supper was provided by Mrs Sparksman, and before tbe meeting coiieludccl tho eluiirnian, ou behall of' those present-, thanked Mr anil Mrs Sparksman for their hospitality and also for the usc of their home for the meeting.
