Intoxicated Motorist "HAD ABOUT A DOZEN BEERS"

WELLINGTON, This Day. Sentence of 21 days hard labour and suspension of his licence till May 31, 1940, were the penalties imposed by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., on Alfred Samuel Erickson, aged 57, painter, for intoxication in charge of a car. He orasbed' into the back of a parked car at Miramar. He said that he had had about a dozen heers. A year ago he was fined £10 and had his licence syspended for three months.
