Abstainers & Fancy Names (Eeceived 10., 10.80 a.m.) LONDON, July 15. In the House of Commons. supporting a successful amendment to the Finance Bill allowing bottle licence holders to sell British wines in less than pint bottles, Mr W. S. Liddal said that at one time these were called raisin, orange and ginger, and if to-day they were given more fancy names they would still be the same stuff which abstainers delighted to provide at weddings and funerals.
