BOXING IN HASTINGS
Officials Appointed A meeting of the executive 6f the Hawke's Bay Boxing Association was held in Hastings on Tuesday night, Mr J. D. Donovan presiding over a good attendance. The match committee 's arrangement of the Martin-McMahon bout for next Baturday was •confirmed and the foliowing officials were appointed for the tournament: Beferee, Mr J. Stcevens; judges, Messrs B. Shadbolt, Forbes-McHardy, and J. Harris and Dr. Baymond; announcer, Mr D. M. Campbell; ringside stewards, Messrs E. Wall and G. Warren; stago stewards, Messrs Xi. J. B. Hammond and W. J. Baiilie; time-keepets, Messrs V. Colello and IT. Connop. Pcrtiilssion was given tho Hastings and Distilct GymnastLc Club to hold a club-night on Monday next. The resignation as chairman of tho exqcutlve of Mr B. M. dg Lisle was handed in and received in tho meantlme.
