Route Being Mapped-Out HOW MANY WILL BE EMPLOYED Advice is now being awaited from the Unernployinent Board regarding the number of men to be employed' on the exteusion of Kennedy. road, Napier to a poiut near Napier Park, on tho' Aapier-f aradale road. The clerk of the Hawke's Buy County Council, Mr. W. J. O'Oonneil, said this morning that as soon as the information was received the work would be put in hand. At present the mapping-out and (la«ging of the route to be followed was in progrsss under the supervision of the county engmeer, Mr. R. Pufflett O'Connell added. The duratiou of the work depended on the number of men who were to be employed. He estimated that 20 men wouid complete the road right through to the junction witk the present Napier-Taradale road within five monthg. Work would later fce undertaken to bring the road up to fh# itandard of a highway. - -
