Mrs Daniels, of Carterton, is the guest of her sister, Mrs L. A. Denton, of Havelock North. Miss Betty Sharp, of Hastings, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs D. McKeague, Stout street. Gisborne. Miss Patricia Hoadley, of Hastings, leaves at the end of this week for England. She will be away about two years and intends to contiuue her study of optpmetry. Miss Anabel R. Powell, Christchurch, who is well known for .her broadcast talk on "Feeding the Family,*' was married on May 15 at Christ Church, Woburn Square, London, to Mr Eric Neilson, of the staff of the General Electrical Company, London. The Vicar of . Christ Church, Woburn Square, performed the ceremony. The Rev. E. .C. W. and Mrs Powell were among those present at their daughter 's wedding. Mr and i Mrs Neilson have taken a flat at Wembley.
