MR. A. LISTON WILSON
The death occurred at a private hospital on Tuesday night of Mr Arthur Li'ston Wilson, a director of Wilson and Horton, Limited. The late Mr Wilson, who was the eldest son of thelate Mr J. L. Wilson, and a grandson of Mr W. C. Wilson, the foundet o£ the New Zealdnd Hcrald, whs bofn in Auckland in 1870 and was educated at the Auckland Grammar Schdol. In his youth he took a keen interest in several forms of atlrle'tics and was especially prominent as a gymnast. He was for some years a member of the staff of the New Zealand Herald, but in more recent timcs had lived in retirement. He was of a generous nature, and with his wife, who was formerly Miss Mains, was ever ready to help charitablo causes, as well as assisting in many ways- cases that did not come under public notice. He is survived by
his widow, two brothers, Messrs Joseph M. and 'John Martyn Wilson, and oue sister, Mrs C. A. Whitney.
