Meat to United Kingdom The New Zealand Meat Produetrs Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Anstralai, South America "and SoUth Africa to the United Kingdom during th* month of June, 1937, were as follows:-— Australia: Carcases mutton 109,276, carcases lamb 246,164, quartera bseif (frozen) 167,227, quarters beef (ehilled) 37,157. South America; Carcases mutton 93,680, carcases lamb 248,025, quarters beef (frozen) 2885, quarters beef (ehilled) 469,430. Ineluded in the South American figures are 113,895 carcases of lamb and 86,138 carcases of mutton shippOd from Patagonia. South Africa (including Southern Bhodesia) : Quarters beef (ehilled) 11,433. New Zealand: Carcases mutton 113,921, carcases lamb 1,009,993, quarters beef (frozen) 18,596, quarters boof; (ehilled) 12,S94. Eetail Prices of New Zealand Meat* The New Zealand Meat Produfcsra Board has been advised by its London manager, that the f ollowing retail'prices were being quoted for Npw ZOalaAd lamb and mutton xetailed in London during June,' 1937. These prices r sent a fair average of the prices quoted by the better clasa shopa in London for the best quality of New Zealand lamb and mutton. Lamb: Legs 12d per lb., shouffiers lld, loins lld, necks 6d, bfeasts 3d, forequarters SM, hindquarters UJd. Mutton (wethers) : Legs 9d, shoulders Sd, loins 8d, necks 4d, breasts 2d. ..
