Results wero as follow: — Watts beat Collings; French beat Strang; Chisholm beat Stewart; Walker beat Edwards'j Bishop beht Dallas; Watts beat Paul Edwards; Edwardp ,boat Fo:.; Walker beat. Bryant. . The F.M.T. Cup competition has now reached the semi-fmal, and in accordance with the rules a further draw' will be made of tho remaining competitors. On Wednesday further rounds of tho championship will be played, and for those players eliminated from this event, games may be arranged as they desire. On Saturday next tho return match against Takapau will be played.
