CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Packed halls and discussions which ovidenced an immense interest on the part of sehool-teachers, characterised the opening sessions of the New Education Fellowship Conference in Christchurch. Advanced ideas and brilliant expositions were given by visiting speakers at group lectures which began to-day^ and provided food for thought and diseussion for everyone attending the conference. The Civic Theatre was packed later in the morning for the first general lee ture delivered by Dr* Kugg on "The Basie Principles of Curriculum-making," aud then for the civic reception tendered by the Mayor# ,Mr J.
