Immediate Prosecutions for Driving Breaches

WELLINGTON, Last Night. • Traffic inspectors controlled by the Transport Department have been instructed to prosecute immediately motorists seen driving on the wrong side of the road, cutting corner^ or failing to givo way to traffic from the right. Tho department has also instructed its inspectors to cxercise more rigid control to obtain stricter observanc'e of the 30 m.p.h. spced limit in prescribed areas. "Any driving that tends to cause accidents is goiug to be dealt with severely," said an official of the Transport Department. "Motorists havo had a long period of warning and they should know by now what they must do or not do. " The official also referred to the danger crcated by the slow driver on a busy highway.
