Spring Show Classes ALLOCATION OF TROPHIES A meeting of the executive commfttee of the Hawke's Bay A. and P. Society was held at the Sliowgrounda to-day. In the- absence of the pfesident, Mr J. H. Absolom, owing to illnese, Mr J. A. Macfarlane presided. The Southdown Sheep Society of Kew Zealand advised' that it had allotted a gold medal for the best two-tooth Southdown ram (open) from a regisfcered flock. The society is to be thanked -for its allocation. The Kew Zealand Aberdeen Angus Cattle Breeders' Association advised that spec'ial prizes amounting to £4 14/6 had been renewed and that the breeders ' cup for group of two bulls two years and upwards and female two years and upwards had been allotted to the society 's spring show. The association is to be thanked for its allocation. The chairman pointed out that the society was fortunate in receiving this allocation, which was usually rar.de to the Royal Show. y On the recommendatcon .of the Hawke's Bay 'Kennel Association, judges for the kennel section at the forthcoming -spring show were appointed ^as follow— Mr J.; W. Robson, Wellington, all.- sporting breeds; Mr P. W. Wilson, Lower Hiitt) non-sportiug terriers a'nd.'toysj Mr D. T. Sinclair, Napier, stakes classes. A Kennef Association sub-commdttee Is to meet .the society 's finance committee to discuss the question of special prizes for the dog section at the spring Bhow. Replying to an inquiry by Mr J. J. Graharn, the eecretary advised that the mimiature-garden clatsses were open to women 's .organisations and not to the mdividual members of the various organisations. It wais decided to include a class for inodel boats at'the coming spring show.
