Blazing Pitch Ignites Building

WELLINGTON, This Day. An outbreak of fire caused by piteh catching alight occurred in CoUege street this morning in a building QC« cupied by Adams Bruce and Beavoa Bros., cardboard-box manufacturers. There were about 50 female employees and over 20 men and youths in the building, but all escaped, there being nc panic. The building was insured with the Norwich Union office for £6000 and Adams Bruce had their plant and stock covered with the Eoyal Exehange office. No damage was done to the stock of Beavon Bros.
