Stock Exchange President (Received 6, 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, July 6. Notificfiation from Mr. Alan D. Abercrombie that he Was unable to meet his financial engagements has been received by . the committee of the Brisbane Stock Exchange. Mr, Abercrombie has been president of the Brisbane Exchange for the past two years. A leading firm of Brisbane accountants was immediately instructed by the committee to make a full investigation of Mr Abercrombie 's books.
