Tlie wedding took place recently at the Trinity Methodist Church, Napier, of Una, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Venables, of Napier, and Jchn William, youngest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. W. J. Foster, of Clive. The Rev. H. J. Odell officiated at the ceremony and Mrs. L, J. Prime preaided at the organ. Escorted by her father, the bride was attired in a blue flecked tailored frock with trimminga of satin, and hat and shoes to tone. She carried a shower bouquet of chrysanthemums, roses, cycJamen and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Marjorie Knott, cousin of the bride, wore a frock of saxe blue crepe de chiue^ relieved with trimmings of dusky pink and hat and shoee to tone. Her bouquet was of chrysanthemums, dahlias and cyclamen in pink tonings. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. C. B. Foster, brother of the bridegroom. i After the cerempny a reception was held in the Clive Hall, which was decorated for the occasion with flowers in autumn shades. When the happy couple loft by cai for a tour of the nortli the bride travelled in a tailored sult of navy blue and a travelling coat of tho same shade with hat to tone. e
