Woman Dragged Off Grafton Bridge

AUCKLAND, Last Night. What had the appearance of an attempt to jump from Grafton bridge was frustrated when a pedestrian walking over the bridge at abont 1.45 p.m. yesterday saw a woman standing on the parapet of one of the bays in the centre of the bridge which have not yet been eovered with wire mesh. B'elieving the woman intended jump* ing into the valley. below the passer-by, pulled her on to the footway by swinging on her legs. She was later taken
