WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Takapau and Porangahau are equal for first place in the order of voting in the Central Hawke's Bay Rugby Sub-Union'g queen carnival, with 3200 votes each. Waipukurau is next on the list with 2000 votes, the order of the other centres is as follows: — Onga-onga-Waipawa 1400, Tikokino 600 and Otane-Omakere-Te Aute 380. Each vote represents 3d towards tho sub-union and the total amount collected to date is £134 15/-.
