Starring jean Arthur, of many recent film successes Charles Boy.or and Leo Carrillo, this film is an unusual one. It combines niurder, melodfama and moonlight, and the audionce is kept in suspense right until the final fade-out. It is a love triangle story,, treated from an unusual angle. Drama is introduced by means of a Irans-Atlantic ship's maiden voyage. "Shots" of thq wreeking of the liner on an iceberg must rival the earthqnake scene from "San Francisco" -in stark detail. Tlie effect of crashing ice strikes terror into her passengers and sends thrills up and down the spines of the audience. One has the impression throughout the lilm that the director has aimed at Ibeautiful camera "sliots, " tinely balanced, with light and sliade correctly proportioned aiul backgrouuds well choseu.
