Fibrous Plasters' Award

WELLINGTON , Last Night. Representatives of the employers and workers in the fibrous plaster industry met with the Conciliation Cominissioner, Mr M. J. Reardon, to-day, to discuss proposals for a new award in the Wellington industrial district. Tho employers submitted claims and tlie workers replied with a cross-cita-tion, the maj0r difference between them being in rateg of wages. It was agreed that the hours should be 40 a week. and some macliinery olauses also have beon agreed upon. Argument is proceeding. &
