Cross, aged 25, left Downing Street to cycle through Australia under the auspices of the Council for Empire Settlement. The Dominiqns ' SecretaTy, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, farewelled them at the Dominions Offiee. It is expected that the tour will take 18 months
