AUCKLAND, L&st Night. , Three charges of converting motorcars to their own nse, one of breaking and enteifing a shop and committing theft, one of committing misehief and one q£ stealing a motor-car nttmber plate were brought against two young labourers, Harry Jhseph Abbott Lomai, aged 19, and Philip Daniel Trainor, aged 23, in the Polioe Court, On one>charge of converting a car *t Christohurch they were remanded to appear there on Tuesday. Thhy pleaded guilty to all the other charges and on two of converting motor-cars and that of breaking and entering they were committed to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for sentence. On the charge of misehief they were ordered to pay the cost of the damage and on the charge of stealing a number plate they were sentenced to 24 hours1 imprison* xnent,
