Four Nominations for Two Seats

WELLINGTON, Last Night. Four nominations, two from the North Island and two from the Soflth, have been received by the authorities for election to the New Zealand Dental Council to be .established under the Dentists Act passed by the last session of Parliament. One representative from each island will be elected by registered dentists in the respective islands by a postal ballot during July. The nominations which closed to-day are: North Island, John Norman Rishworth (Auckland) and Ernest Gordon Bender (Wellington); South Island, Owen Vivian Davies (Dunedin) and Douglas Vernon Donaldson (Christchurch). The two members returned as a resuJt of this poll'will be the only electivc members of the council. It is presumed the Government will await the result oi the election before appointing its nojniaeee.
