WELLINGTON, Last Night. Enmeshing his opponent in an octopus clamp Lofty Blomfield beat Spellman by a single fall in a lively wrestling bout to-night. The bout went the full eight xounds with a fall in the seventh. For fully five minutes in the last round Blomfield successfully withstood an Indian deathlock perfectly applied and reinforced with "all Spellman 's weiuht and salvos of elbow-jolts. ' The bout was preceded by an unexpected iacident when & burly individual clambered into the ring, jostled aside the announcer and proclaimed loudly that he desired to challengp. Blomfield, The intruder was recognised as a wrestler who appeared last season under the name of A1 Wahlberg and refereed in recent bouts as A1 Dane. He was escorted from the ring by oolicemen.
