Mary Pickford and y Buddy Rogers HOLLYWOOD, June 26. , Mary Pickford and Buddy Rogers ► were quietly married according to plan. Fourteen gueats atten'ded the wedding. The roads leading to Mary's home, "Pickfair," were crowded hours before tke ceremony by persons seeking a glimpse of the wedding reception, The police who took up their stations befor® dawn had diffieuify in keeping the traffic moving although there was no disorder. The guests at the reception eomprised virtually all the prominent actresses, actors and produeers. Douglas Fairbanks' (Mary's former husband) was not invited, but two of his relatives were present. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are sailing for Honolulu on the same ship with Jeanette McDonald and Gene Raymond, whose elaborate wedding sharply contrasted with tlieirs. None of those crowding the roads got even a glimpse either of the wedding or the reception.
