"Three Men on a Horse" To-night "Three Men on a Horse," the fllm version of the famous Broadway stage play will he soreened for the last tiime at the Waipukurau Theatre to-night at 8. This hilarious racing story concerns the adventures of. a meek little writer of greeting card verses who has a weird gift of picking winners in race horses. He keeps^ the seeret to himself, but his nagging wife iinds the hook in which he records his prognostieations aud imaginary winnings, and denounces him as a philanderer. Erwin (that's Frank McHugh) heara three gamesters taiking and timidly offers a tip. He is imprisoned by the men (Allen Jenkins, Freddy Hart and Sam Levene) who get rich.on his tips on winners. The fun begins iu eatuest when his wife (Joan Biondell) rouses the police and searches for tl)o ■ttssing husband. It's all a merry ■rfS-up and a wonderful evening's eutertainment.
