(Received 26, 2.0 p.m.) MOSCOW, June 25. ■ M. Josef Stalin visited the aerodrome to welcome the trans-Polar airmen, Dr. Otto Sehmidt and M. Vodopianov, in company with scores of Soviet leaders whose attendance contradicted rumours of their arreet. The airmen sprang to the dans and kissed M. Stalin, M. Coroshilov .and M. Biudenny, after whieh the viee-Premier, M. Churbar, declared: "The Russians, now that the Tukhacevsky gang have been destroyed, are more devoted than ever to national defence." Dr. Sehmidt replied: "When we heard over the wireless of Tukhachevsky's treason, we decided to give the last drop of our blood to defend Stalin." Flower-decked cars bore the » airmen along eight erowded mile3 of highway to the Kremlin.
