Struck By Car Near Bay View BOTH LEGS FRACTURED Struck by a car near Bay Vdew late yesterday af ternoon, - Herbert Edward Trafford, aged six and a-lial£ years, v/as seriously injured and is now in the Napier Public Hospital in a danger: ous condition. His injuries consist v:t a bad sealp wound and fractures of both legs. It is stated that tbe boy, who iis tlie son of Mr. Edward Trafford, Bay View, ran from behind a stationary car into the path of a vehicle driven by Mr. Raymond Leslie Puddle, of. Eskdale. He was struck heavily, and rendered unconscious. The injured boy was taken to the hospital in the car of Mr. Perey Ilills, Bay View, accompanied by his father. A report from the hospital this morning indicated that his condition wus unchauged and was still serious.
