MR WILLIAM SPENCER

■The death, foliowing some months of ill-health occurred this morning at the Napier Hospital of. Mr. William Spencer, of Ikanui road, Hastings He was born at Hokitika in 1880. Following ten years in Australia, he came to Hastings about 25 years ago. He was well-known thrdughout the district in his capacity as a bridge constructor. The late Mr. Spencer leaves one son, Mr. Frederick Spencer, of Wellington, and a brother, Mr. G. M. Spencer, of I ownshend street, Hastings.
