OBITUARY

MR. GEORGE KITT An old identity of Port Ahuriri, Mr. George Eatt, passed away early this morning, at his residence. Arriving in New Zealand about 56 years ago, Mr. Kitt spent about two years in Auckland and tbe Waikato district before coming to Hawke's Bay. He had resided here ever since. He was an engineer, having learnt that trade in London. Always of a cheery disposition, he wil be missed by a wide cirole of friends. His wife predeeeased bim four years ago. He leaves one son, Mr. Bartlett Kitt, Taradale, two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Buckingbam, Hastings, and Mrs. J. Holmstrom, Upper Moutere, Nelson, j and eight grandcliildren. The J;'uneral will take place to-inorrow from St. AndrS'w's Cliurch, Port Ahuriri, for interment at the Taradale Cemetery.
