Hall Committee Meeting

EISSINGTON, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Hall Committee was held at the week-end, Mr S. "Williams presiding. All of the old committee were returned, jincluding two new members, Mr A. Absolom, the secertary, who has resigned, was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks for his very valuable services in the past. Mrs E. Absolom kindly consented to fill the positions. The committee is: Mesdames W. Woodward, A. and E. Absolom, Messrs W. Simpson, W. Woodward, A. and E. Absolom, N. Simpson. Mr S. Williams was Te-elected chairman. Badminton is still going strong, games being played every Wednesday ovening. It was deeided to have a free badminton night in July, the date to be advertised later. There is also 'a be a working bee next Saturday afternpon at 1 o 'clock, and it is hopod the residents of the distriet will turn out and give thp hall and its grounds a good clean up.
