SOLD FOR SCRAP
Remnants of Airship Hitidenburg (Received 23, 10.0 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 22. A message from Lakehurst announced that the remnants of the airship Hindenburg will be sold for junk on behalf of the underwriters to several American companies interested in extracting aluminum from the framework. They submitted bids ranging from 4000 to 12,000 dollars contrasting with the original construction cost of 4,000,000 dollars.
