Mr Savage iti Favour of Resumption TO BE PUT ON FARMS

(Recejved 23, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, June 22. Mr. M. J. Savage conferred on migration with the Dominion's Secretary, Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, which concluded tlie series of important talkB on this subject. Mr. MacDonald arranged to send full particulars of the organisation and types of people available when NeW Zealand is ready to restrme migration. It is understood that this jvill include assisted passages and other foriiis of financial aid to New Zealand. He stressed that Britain would pi'efer to send Out young men, and New Zealand cOUld train them for farm work. _ Mr. Savage 'poiiited out that his Government was UioVing . very l'apidly and had ali'eady redticed unemployment consider ably. When all local uncmpioyed were in WOi'k, he would be ready to discuss bringittg out English people. The New Zealand Government was wholeheartedly behind the xdea of resuming migration. If Britain woul dagree to an open Uiarket for New Zealana products, his eountry was willing and able to settle inany men on the land.
