Mr and Mrs Hume Strachan, Te Pohue, left by, car this morning for a holiday in Wellington. , Miss Ruth Tully, of Cook Hospital, Gisborne, is epending her aanual holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs Tully, Southland road, Hastings Miss Mary Rice, daughter of Cknon and Mrs E. D. Eice, of Waipukurau, is thoroughly enjoying her holiday abroad. She has been twice to Holland with members of the Oxford G'roup Movement, and she was privileged to he one of a party invited to afternoon tea at the House of Commons, in London, where she heard Mr Anthony Eden and Lord Salisbury speak.
