SCOTTISH WEDDING IN DUNEDIN RECENTLY
ROSS— M'KENZIE A Sisottish wedding was solemnisea rccently at ltoss Cliapel, Knox College, Dunedin, wlien Reda Mary Evans, eldest daugliter of tlie Rev. D. N. and Mrs. M'Kenzie, of West Taiori, and granddaughter of Mrs. Evans, of " lLoonewood, ' ' Otane, was inarried to Angus, ouly son of Mr. J. A. Ross and the iate Mrs. Ross, of Herbert, the ltev. D. C. ilerron oiiiciating. The church was artistically decorated by students of the eollege with hydrangeas and ehrysantkemums. Miss lda (i. White presided at the organ, and was assisted by a choir of Columba CoRege girls. The bride wore a charming gown of ivory georgette, with a fitting lace bodice and full lace sleeves. Over her gown she wore a particularly lovely . veil, which fell in folds from a halo of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of swoet-scented lilies and freesias and trailing clematis. The bridesmaid, her sister Linda, wore a gown of Co ro nation blue panne velvet, i with a large liat in the same colouriag. .Her bouquet was of blue irises and ! pink caruations. The bridegroom was ottended by Mr. Fred Robinson as best man, while tho ushers were Mr. R. Burnett and Mr. W. D. Borrie. During the signing of the register Miss Oiiver M' K.enzie, sister of the bride, sang ' ' The God of Love" (by Eric Thilman), being assisted by a full chorus of Columba girls. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Somerset Lounge, where the guests were received by the bride 's pareuts, the bridegroom 's fatker> and Miss F. J. Ross. Mrs. M' Kenzie (uiotlier of the bride) wore a suit of ilark brown, rclieved with pink, with liat and fur to tone, and carried a posy of pink scabias and roscbuds. Miss F. J. Ross wore a gown of midnigkt blue, patterned in red and white, and carried a posy of red rosebuds and helibores. After the reception the couple left on their honeymoon in the north, the bride wearing an ensemble of dark brown with a Coronation red blouse with accessories to tone, and a beautiful musquash coat, gift of the bridegroom.
