Tweed Coats and Fur Coats In Favour WINTRY WEATHER Many women racing enthusiasts were tempted by a glimpse of the sun on Saturday afternoon to attend the second day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's winter meeting, but there was a definite nip in the air, and good heavy tweed coats or fur coats were worn by almost everyone.
