Small Entries Yesterday

PALMERSTON N., This Day. The weekly live stock salo at Feilding yesterday saw small entries in all sections and selling was concluded very early in the afternoon. Fully ha-lf the offering of sheep was found in tho fat pens where prices were up to late rates but the quality not so. strong as last week. Prices were unchanged and the market for all classes of stock continues buoyant. The fat sheep yarded numbered just over 900, made up of 200 lambs, 300 wethers and slightly over 400 ewes. Generally speaking the quality was not cqual to that of last week, while the appearance of the sheep had beea affected by tho heavy rain which felJ prior to the comniencement of the sale. The market, however, remained flrm at late rates and practically the wholc was purehased by the local freezing works.
