Meeting of Conimittee

NORSEWOOD, Last Night. At the monthly meeting of the Norsewood School • Committee, Mr G. Poulsen presided over the following: — Mrs A. Mildon, Messrs E. Parsons, H. Eitchie, A. Nieholeon, J. Hansen, and A. Mildon ( seeretary) . Mr Cuthbertson, a member of the Hawke's Bay Education Board, wrote regarding a meeting to discuss the connolidation of the Norsewo°d District High School. A request from the W.E A. asking for the use of a school room for leecures was granted. • Accounts totalling £12 12/- werepassed for payment. Mr E. Stretton, prineipal, reported on the number of pupils cligible for receiving dental treatment at the district clinic at Ormondville, and the amount of fees collected. Also that a number of Ormondville boys were attending the woodwork elasses in the secondary department of the high school. It was decided to make repairs to a mumber of windows, and to call tenders for the cutting of tho school hedges. Messrs E. Parsons and A. Mildon were appointed to supervise the work.
