The splendid dance programme submittcd met with general approval, and with Mr B. Mather in control, tlie ouccess of the evening was assured. Afr W. Te Tau's fulLorchestra provided excellent dance music, and .much appreciated extras were iilayed by Mr lv. Btaiger (-Norsewood)" and Mr Jack Ghote (Dannevirke). Several novelty dances were introduced, the ehief being the Monte Carlo. This was wou by Miss P. Brickland- and partner. After a dainty supper dancing' continued until a late hour. The prbmoters wish to heartily thank all who lent assistance which contributed largely to the success of the ball.
